Forum Assignment #3
My Podcast:
I have decided to continue with my original idea for my audio podcast. I found it very interesting to ask people on the street if they think there are aliens inside of Area 51. I think it will be a question we will never know an answer to, which makes it so unique.
Experts:
I thought I was stuck in a rut when I had to find an expert to interview on this topic because it is such a hard question to answer. Also, if any expert had any clue, the information is classified. That would make it difficult for them to give me any more information on the topic than I already know. But, I have a friend who is in the Air Force and I texted him and asked if I could interview him about the question, and he said he is very willing to give me answers. He said he knows a lot about what is involved with the Air Force base, but has to be careful with what he says because how classified the information is.
Background Music:
For my background music, I want to have a song that gives a sci-fi feel to my podcast, since I am talking about aliens. This song has good parts to it where it gives a cringe feeling to the listeners, which I am going for.
Transition Music:
For my transition music, I want to keep the cringe feeling alive, so I will add more sci-fi music into my audio story. This song has a little more upbeat to it though.
Intro/Outro Music:
For my intro music, I want to have a good song that grabs the attention of the listeners right off the bat. I am going for a song that sounds like alien sound effects. I feel this is a good idea of what my podcast will be about, so I want to end my podcast with the same song for my outro music.
Foley Sound:
For my foley sound, I decided to use a whistle. I feel a whistle has a sci-fi sound to it, which can give the listener a more fantasy/sci-fi feel for what my podcast is about.
