My Podcast: I have decided to continue with my original idea for my audio podcast. I found it very interesting to ask people on the street if they think there are aliens inside of Area 51. I think it will be a question we will never know an answer to, which makes it so unique. Experts: I thought I was stuck in a rut when I had to find an expert to interview on this topic because it is such a hard question to answer. Also, if any expert had any clue, the information is classified. That would make it difficult for them to give me any more information on the topic than I already know. But, I have a friend who is in the Air Force and I texted him and asked if I could interview him about the question, and he said he is very willing to give me answers. He said he knows a lot about what is involved with the Air Force base, but has to be careful with what he says because how classified the information is. Forum #2: POS Interviews The question I asked random people on the street was, "do you believe there are aliens inside of Area 51"? I am from California, so this topic is a big debate from where I am from. I thought this would be a more fun question to ask the public, but all three responses I received was not as interesting as I hoped for. I did enjoy going out to the public though. I took more than three interviews, but some of them did not turn out well, so I took the best three I had. I did not have any issues with using Audition. The only part that I struggled with was making my clip 30 seconds. I was not able to cut it all the way down, but I got it close. For my audio story, I am going to have to shorten my introductions and lengthen the actual interview parts. I feel I gained a better understanding of how to use audition, as I was able to get comfortable with cutting and fading my clips together.
