Forum 5: Visual Communication

Introduction For my video, I used words for a visual explanation in my work. I put what certain people said in spots to show someone who can't hear what is going on in my video. I tried to be detail enough without using too many words and make my video too wordy. What I Did and Didn't Do I was able to use words to tell the story that my video is telling. I wrote certain words to give cues to represent visual communication. I feel I could have been better with making the words have effects to them. I was pretty boring, and for my final project I might consider using solid backgrounds to make the words pop out at you without taking away the effect of the picture. I also, would like to use more fade-ins and fade-outs to make my pictures more interesting. Also, I still have house B-roll in my sequence. My Video

Forum 4: The Animatic

Forum 4: The Animatic What I Learned I learned a lot of new information when making my animatic. I gained a lot of new knowledge after using Adobe Premier for the first time. To be honest, when I first started using Premier I had no idea what I was doing. It took me some time to learn the material, but after awhile I started figuring out how to do each step of this assignment. I learned how to upload my audio into the app and match up pictures to it. It was tough to find pictures and transfer them over, but after struggling with it, I figured it out. I feel comfortable creating sequences now and I am excited to pursue this project and use Premier in the future. What I Couldn't Figure Out The only real thing I struggled with was figuring out how to get my audio story into Premier. At first, I tried putting it onto my flash drive, but the computer would not read it. So, I asked a classmate for help, and he helped me download it from Soundcloud. Then, I was able to find it in...
